Welcome to the 2026 APHL Newborn Screening Poster Awards Entry Platform!
Thank you for submitting your poster for consideration for the 2026 APHL Newborn Screening Poster Awards! All entries must be submitted through the platform to be considered as well as presented in-person (whether through a print or digital poster) at the Symposium.
Before You Begin
To submit your poster, you will need to have an APHL online account. If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking "Create Account" in the top right of this page. If you have questions related to your account or APHL’s NBS Awards Program, please contact Dara Slavin at dara.slavin@aphl.org.
Poster Entry Considerations
- The portal will close on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST.
- All entries must be submitted through the platform. Entries not submitted through the platform will not be considered.
- You can revisit any incomplete fields at your convenience upon login to the awards site until the deadline.
- Posters not displayed at Symposium (whether printed or digital) will not be eligible for a poster award.
- If you are presenting a poster on behalf of someone else, you can submit the poster to the portal and accept the certificate on behalf of the author.
- You can submit more than one poster if you are presenting multiple posters at the Symposium.
How to Submit Your Poster
- Create your APHL online account if you do not already have one.
- Click “User Login” to log into the application portal using your account email address and password.
- Complete the form for the poster award.
- Save and submit the form. You will receive a confirmation pop up message if submitted correctly.
Decision Process
- Voting will take place on the platform.
- Information about how posters are being judged can be found on the NBSS Poster Development and Submissions FAQ.
Announcement of Poster Awards
- Recipients will be announced at the 2026 APHL Newborn Screening Awards Ceremony.
- Recipients will receive a certificate of achievement.
- Recipients will be notified in advance of the awards ceremony and will be asked to attend in-person to accept their certificate.
